Playing It Don't Mean a Thing

 So, here are some pictures around the end of the school year.  The first two are of Joseph playing at an annual Music Festival that high schools and middle schools in the Denver Metro Area perform every year at Elitch Gardens.  Joseph did great of course!  He played the swing classic It Don't Mean a Thing if it Aint Got That Swing.  They were judged by a panal of three musical perfessionals.  The band got a gold star plaque, which means they did very well, natually!  I was one of the chaperons for the field trip and spent a lot of time sitting on a bench in the park reading, and reading, and reading.

The other set of pictures are of the girls getting some awards at the end of the school year at Timberline.  They both excel in math and got awards for their math masters.
