About Time I did a post

Paula has returned after being away for quite some time.

It has been so long, I do not know where to begin, so I guess I will just get started then.

We all had a great Valentines day. The girls had their "Party" by "helping" me make cookies and then we all filled out Valentines cards for their friends and cousins. We passed out the cookies and Valentines to the girls friends and they loved it. It delighted them to get out of the car and then run up to the door and hand them out. Oh the simple pleasures of life. Joseph had a party at his class and I sent a ziploc bag full of cookies and he said they all were eaten. He seemed to have a great time. Mike got me my usual box of See's chocolates, the peanut clusters are the best. It is convient for him to go there as it is across the street from work. He said that the line was out the door when he got there and they were not quite opened yet. I am sure he was not the only man standing in that line the day before Valentines. We then had take out from Outback, that was my gift to him because he loves his steak. It was a great night, we had a great dinner and watched a great oldie but goodie movie "Back to the Future". We relived our glory days of the 80's and I rocked out to the great music in the movie. I suggest to everyone to watch it again if you have not for a while, it is a great movie.

I have been able to return back to my calling in Primary which has been nice. I have missed doing it. I feel though as if I never left. It is a great calling, I love it. It is the second time I have had it, which has been nice. Primary always keeps you jumping and on your toes, never a dull moment. We actually all went to church as a family on Sunday. Only for Sacrament meeting with the baby. Katherine did great, I sat most of the feeding her in the mother's room. It was grand central station in there. The other ward must have a lot of babies, there were five women who came in while I was feeding her. It was nice to hide out in there because Mike allowed the girls to go potty by themselves with Joseph and then upon their return to the chapel they went the wrong way and walked all the way to the front of the chapel before Mike caught up with them. I always said that those people who let thier kids wander around during the meeting are annoying and why are they not watching thier kids. But, then by Murphy's law I was that person. Oh well, at least I was not there. I told Mike the next time, just get up and take them, please.

I feel that life is finally returning back to normal for the Nelson family. My health has finally returned which is great. I feel that I can function again. I am still on medication for the b.p. but things are much better. I had my 6 week appointment which was actually a 4 week appointment which went great. I saw the doctor who delivered Katherine and the girls. He saw me two weeks ago as well. He has never seen me not pregnant. He was very complimentary at the two week but yesturday he was gushing. He told me that when I am not pregnant I am "gorgeous." I was not quite sure where to go from there about that comment so I just said thank you. What does one say to the person performing that type of exam anyway? Is he suggesting that I am ugly while pregnant? (just kidding) But it is nice to know that I do not have to go back there for a long time. I think what he and I are both releived that the process is over and that things have turned out so well. Just before the surgery back in January while standing in the OR he informed me that I could never have another baby because he is so close to retirement that he could not make it through another one with me, he was getting too old to deal with all my problems. I told him not to worry that he was taking care of that issue. He smiled and then went about his business getting the surgery started.
