Fun at the Barn

 Mike and the girls came down with me to the barn this morning.  I actually had someone there to take pictures of me!  That never happens, thus not too many pictures of the barn.  But here are some ones that turned out really well.  I am riding Houston, I have been riding him since February.  I was working on a trot pole course and then ended with some very small jumps.  I know I look really red faced here that is because I am super hot!  I always sweat while riding even in January, but especially in June in nearly 100 degree heat.  I look so serious in these pictures but I have decided that I look so serious because I am concentrating so hard.  I promise I am having a great time.  The time of my life actually.  Welcome to my passion!

Just Because I love you and Miss You

 Father's Day is always very bittersweet for our family.  It is sweet because we get to celebrate Mike and Dad and show our love and support for him for he truly works hard and sacrifices for us.  Then comes the bitter side which Father's Day is also Katherine's angel day.  Last year it actually fell on Father's Day, this year it was the day after, but her angel day will always coincide with her loss.  We celebrated her angel day on Father's Day again this year.  After church we went down to see her and give her the beautiful pink roses that we remember her by.  We also had a wreath placed there that is made from paper flowers that lasts a little bit longer.  I will close by saying what I usually say which is "Happy Father's Day dear Mike."  Happy Angel Day my sweet and perfect angel Katherine.  I look forward to seeing you again, I certainly look forward to the joy that I know I will feel when I get to see you and hold you again.  Farewell my sweet daughter farewell until we meet again!

Last Day of School for the Girls

 On the last day of school, Rachel's class did a walking field trip around the neighborhood.  The class stopped at two houses of the kids who live in the neighborhood.  At each stop they had a treat and then did various activities.  I was on the chaperones and was the one taking all the pictures.  After the "field trip" I went over to Juliana's class and took some really cute pictures over there.  The girls had such great classes this past year and made some great friends and loved, loved their teachers.

Spring Break Fun

 I tried to plan a fun activity every day for Spring Break.  So, here are some pictures of the couple of activities that I had planned.  One day we went downtown and toured Coors Field where the Rockies play which is located in LoDo.  We then went the next day to the IMAX to see a movie about dinosaurs that turned into modern day birds which was quite interesting.  We then spend the rest of the afternoon in the museum.  My kids love the everything about the museum, I just like to see them smile.
