Enjoying the New Scooters |
Here are the pictures from Christmas morning and the rest of the trip. We all enjoyed opening up the presents and then heading off to church with Mike's sister and her family. We then enjoyed a great afternoon and evening over at my aunt's house for dinner. They girls loved their razor scooters and sure had fun riding them with thier cousin Ryan. On our last night in Utah we had a fun family dinner all together at the Nelson's.
We made it back to Denver in time for New Year's. We spent Friday night at my friend's Kristie and Kevin's house where we visited with my other very close friends Melissa and Elizabeth with all the kids of course! The four of us have been friends for going on 10 years now, we have had 9 children total since then and have been a major support to eachother through a lot of ups and downs. The next night we were invited over to my dear friend Tiffany's house for the "official" New Year's Eve and had a great time there as well. We lasted until about 10:30, enjoying great food, friends, some darts, and one tv show about building cars that all the big boys were watching. All in all, a great weekend of great friends, I feel truly blessed! I know that sounds sappy, but I mean it!
For Christmas, Mike and I bought a new desk top computer and for our birthdays, we bought a new camera. We are finally making into the new era of technology, I want you all to be impressed. But, Mike needed to take the lap top to teach at class so we needed a computer for me to have here.
I was called and set apart to work as a voleenter in the baptistry of the temple this past weekend as well. I interviewed with the 1st Councelor of the temple and then he set me apart to work there. I am not sure when I will be working there, I am still waiting to hear about that. But, it is official, I will start some time soon I would anticipate.
Happy New Year's!
