First day of Kindergarten

So, here are my really cute girls ready for their first day of kindergarten. They were so excited to go. They have been walking to and from Timberline for years now and it is finally their turn to go. They loved going and had such a good time. It was a little crazy once we got into the classroom. There are 23 kids in the class and then 23 parents and other siblings in tow, so it was a lot of people in a small space. But, we unpacked their school supplies which I bought from the PTO fundraiser last year. It was so convenient to show up with the kids and have their supplies in a box ready to go. So, then we went out and played with the class on the playground for about 20 minuets and then they lined up again to go into the classroom with Ms. Gedde. So, they loved their new teacher who did not seem to have a problem telling them apart, that is nice to see. Mike took the afternoon off and met the kids after school and we all went out to Chick-fil-A for a treat as a celebration for their first day. The girls and I also went to Children's Place and picked out new shirts for the occasion. They loved shopping and had a hard time choosing, but with a little help from mom, they finally choose. Back to school again today and then they are off the next two days as the teacher is doing the evaluation testing on the kids. So, by next week, they will have their first full week. Congrats girls!
